The property was continuously let throughout that time; Savills always found excellent tenants and provided first-class support, including when a complete kitchen refurbishment was undertaken. The process wasn't easy (a lot of bumps in the road) but Rosie was proactive and reassuring and we got there in the end! Our move from Dundee in Scotland to Biggleswade, could have been a lot more stressful had it not been for this lovely, friendly, approachable team who were always happy to go above and beyond in arranging several visits, often at quite short notice, for us to view some houses on our short visits down from Scotland. They were always extremely professional and caring with a pro-active approach, learning our needs and desires of what we wanted from our new home. With an incredibly deep knowledge of the local market, they soon identified a house that suited our needs., exactly. We moved in 2 weeks ago and we are absolutely delighted. From start to finish, the whole process ran smoothly, Artistry pay attention to every detail from photography to elegant write ups which really do capture the individual features of their properties. The whole team are incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable and you feel like you are getting something more personal and unique to other estate agents. I’m not quite sure how they made what should have been a very stressful experience, feel straightforward and totally under control. The team kept us well informed throughout the process and were always available to answer all our questions. 11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Estate agents sometimes get a bad press, but Ashtons in Hitchin have been just brilliant handling the recent sale of our house. They proposed a sensible pricing strategy which generated plenty of interest, arranged photography which showed the property to its best advantage and then efficiently handled the many enquiries and viewings. Once it was under offer (after only a couple of weeks), the team navigated us through to a speedy completion with professionalism and good humour. Couldn't be happier with their service, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Vicki and Helen have supported us through the process and been instrumental in making it quick and straightforward. They had viewers lined up before our house went on the market resulting in it selling on the day it went live!<br><br>Family members had also recently made a purchase through VLS, and we had been extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge Helen had when showing that property.<br><br>We made use of the complementary mortgage advice from VLS Mortgages and Kirsty has been brilliant, providing all the advice we needed and quickly updating our mortgage offer when rates briefly came down.
