The property was continuously let throughout that time; Savills always found excellent tenants and provided first-class support, including when a complete kitchen refurbishment was undertaken. 11th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)After deciding to move to a family plot, we engaged with Sworders, who we have used many times before, for planning advice for a replacement dwelling. After getting some initial stellar advice from Clare Hutchinson, I was introduced to Hazel Izod who had only recently joined Sworders. As a former planning officer, Hazel immediately gave me confidence with her very detailed knowledge of the planning policies and laws but also understands the perspective of the planning authority, therefore providing solid and balanced advice to achieve our aims. Hazel expertly guided us through the process, helping us to overcome obstacles, explain concepts and I felt truly brought into our vision, becoming a strategic partner with us on this very personal and important journey. Whilst others may be well versed in the policies Hazel can interpret them with a practical and pragmatic approach, ensuring all elements are considered (including taking the likely views of the planning officer into account). Our application was successful on the first submission, and I have no doubt that this was largely down to Hazel’s expertise and input. We have subsequently instructed Hazel on various other planning applications (or preparation work) and have had the same impressive and responsive service. With one application, for a car port, the application was initially turned down due to the land we proposed building on being considered “open Hertfordshire countryside”. Within days of the refusal, Hazel had prepared a detailed and comprehensive appeal for the application, and the refusal was overturned. I have recommended Hazel to everyone who has asked me who I would recommend for planning advice, and she is literally on my speed dial when anything planning related comes up.

14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)From the first meeting with Lucy, when she came to value our property, I knew we were on the same wavelength.<br>It wasn't an easy sale for a variety of reasons, but all the way through, until completion and beyond, the whole team were supportive, helpful, friendly and very professional.<br>Read their brochure and compare it to other agents.<br>Most agents are we, we, we.<br>Putterills is you, you, you.<br>As a buyer or a seller they are there for their clients, first and foremost, and I thank them all for their help.
8th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would use these agents again definitely. From viewing to check-in to check-out I am pleased with the agents. Especially Debbie, who did the checks during our tenancy, her communication, knowledge and action was 1st class. The paperwork process initially was clear and simple. We reported faults and they were acted upon with expediency. When the in home checks were carried out Debbie made me feel comfortable whilst identifying or pointing out issues and solutions. I couldn’t have asked for a better agent. Seems like a lovely company to work with based on my experience, we rented via Oliver Minton for 15months. I would recommend highly.
12th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)1 star. I used Lane and Bennett to let and manage my property and would not use them again.<br><br>Communication was the first problem. I was constantly chasing them for updates and rarely got them without pushing. When they found new tenants I had to chase repeatedly just to find out whether the tenant had actually moved in. Getting hold of them by phone was a job in itself, as calls frequently went unanswered.<br><br>Throughout the tenancy there was a steady stream of maintenance issues, and on nearly every one I was steered towards their own contractors rather than being given a genuine choice. Tiles were cracked and it took repeated chasing over a long period before I was reimbursed.<br><br>The handover back to me was the worst of it. The property was returned filthy. The garden was unkept, the front driveway was unkept, there were burn marks in the carpets, the carpets had not been cleaned, and furniture was damaged. I had been charged for an inventory, yet none of this was properly recorded in it. An inventory that fails to capture obvious damage offers a landlord no protection at all.<br><br>The overall experience was of an agent that collected its fees, did not keep me informed, did not look after the property, and did not act in the landlord's interest. If you are a landlord considering them, be prepared to get your property back in a materially worse condition than you handed it over, and to do most of the chasing yourself.
19th Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)talk the talk to get you in, but if you're a low value property they don't put much effort in. i got 0 feedback from the viewings i had. one time an agent didn't turn up and the viewer went home and didn't re book. poor communication in responding to emails. i felt like my property was low on their list of priorities. no chase up when the contract was coming to an end to see if i wanted to extend. when i said i was listing with another agent they didn't ask for feedback or try to keep my business.
3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)We recently bought our home through Frost's and wanted to say a big thank you to Adam.<br><br>Buying a house is stressful but Adam was fantastic to deal with throughout the process. He was approachable, understanding, and consistently went above and beyond to help keep things moving.<br><br>We ended up having a lot of contact over the course of the purchase because we used Frost's recommended conveyancer and, unfortunately, the individual we got wasn't particularly proactive or responsive. As a result, Adam seemed to take on an unpaid second job of chasing the conveyancer, following up and calming down a grumpy buyer! Without his persistence and communication, I'm honestly not sure the transaction would have progressed as well as it did.<br><br>Adam was always quick to respond, patient with our requests, and genuinely cared about getting the sale over the line. His professionalism and dedication made a stressful process much easier to manage.<br><br>We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adam and Frost's to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thanks again for all your hard work!

From keeping me up to date with what is going on with the sale, solicitors to answering any and all questions I have had. Throughout what was not always a straightforward process, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, integrity, and compassion. They took the time to listen to our circumstances, treated my family with kindness and respect, and provided guidance and support wherever appropriate. At the same time, they never lost sight of their responsibility to their landlord client, balancing all parties' interests with fairness and transparency. What stood out most was their willingness to engage constructively, consider the facts presented, and work diligently to overcome challenges along the way. 17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)Sales assistants didn't bother to give buyers positive points about house, location etc, was more bothered helping buyers than my selling and negotiated to cash byers who were not sole when told otherwise. Good sales to get work then went downhill. only plus was photos.

The service I have received has been outstanding and I am impressed with the “due diligence” they have undertaken. Giving the changing legislation affecting landlords, I feel confident that IW Estates will ensure compliance with the law. I also expect that my tenants will have confidence that issues arising with the property they are renting will be dealt with in a timely manner. My point of contact is Ellie Smith and she has been outstanding in terms of advising me, creating new tenancy agreements and meeting my tenants. I know that she is supported by others in IW Estates and my thanks go to them as well as to Ellie. In summary, in my view, a highly professional Company who do everything “by the book” and deserve to do well in the highly competitive lettings business.
