17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

21st Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)An unprofessional organisation had very bad experience with them no communication with them started with Steve Keenan he left in middle of negotiation with a tenant with out giving me notice & he changed number it took weeks to find out he left when called Toby he always said will give over but i never got a call back from anyone 4 years i didn't hear anything from them at the end when i wend somewhere else they only wanted money i was threatened by Neil to pay i never encountered such a bad not honest estate agent. not even worth a single star

Christopher Hazel in particular deserves a very special mention, he has been as helpful as possible to speed up the purchase with his advice and experience, it has been a pleasure working with him. Hamptons have been first rate in their professionalism, knowledge, assistance and service. Thank you!

But he kept the lines of communication open and was always on hand with both advice and help. We would highly recommend Phillip and the team at Strutt and Parker

3rd Feb 2021 (5 years ago)When looking to secure a tenancy we were not kept up to date or informed if our offers had been accepted or unsuccessful, after emails and calls not returned we went elsewhere and secured a property with all checks completed in 48 hours. Do not recommend

7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.

He carried out a valuation for me and was clear, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with throughout. Even months later, when I asked for an updated valuation, he was prompt and helpful with his response. It’s rare to come across someone so responsive and courteous, especially when there’s no pressure or expectation. A great example of excellent customer service — highly recommended.

23rd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)AJM were the agents for the seller of the house we recently bought, the experience was chalk and cheese from most of the other agents I encountered. Accessible, knowledgeable about the area and focused on getting the sale done, ably abbetted by a solicitor working closely with him and my own solicitor. Thinking about moving into the the area? I can commend this team wholeheartedly.

There were many days when I thought this would be utterly impossible! The persistence of Paul to get it over the line was so reassuring. I am just so grateful to have chosen a renowned national chain with their expert local knowledge to introduce a wide ranging clientele from all over the country. My new life is now assured thanks to the team for which I am eternally grateful.

3rd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)I am still in the process of moving house, however so far, Connor and David at Who Property have been brilliant. Connor valued the house and the following weekend took all the photos and video tour of the property, and within a couple of days the property advert was live. Back-to-back viewings were booked for the weekend after, with multiple offers (including two above asking price) were received on the day. Connor and David have been very responsive throughout the process, and supported me with queries relating both to my sale, and the property I am hoping to buy. Overall, I am delighted with how easy the process has been so far, and would highly recommend Who Property to anyone looking to sell in the surrounding area!
