I lived in a property managed by SW Residential for a year while studying in London with my friends, and although I couldn't renew the lease due to personal reasons, I can say with absolute confidence that this is the best agency I've ever worked with — especially thanks to Christian. I'm not exaggerating when I say he is the best agent in the world. Before we even moved in, Christian kindly helped us carry all our luggage up to the attic on the third floor. Since none of us were in London during the summer holidays, he also made sure all our belongings were placed inside the flat as soon as the tenancy started. Throughout the year, he was always incredibly helpful and responsive. No matter what we needed, he was quick to reply and happy to assist. He’s also just a genuinely kind and understanding person — always willing to help mediate and maintain good neighborly relationships. The moving-out process was also smooth and stress-free — thanks to Christian again. If I didn’t need to move into a studio next year, I would absolutely choose SW Residential again. Extremely poor service. Brit bricks and robert terry both are same estate agents. Basically they aren't even worth calling estate agents as they dont treat their customers fairly and doesn't know the basic principles of customer service. They have put me and my family is such dilemma. They have agreed a 4 bed house in Pinner holding fees paid, reference checks done and passed, 5 weeks rent deposit and 1 month rent advance paid as well. But they were not telling us our moving date. They kept changing dates 4 times. And when i was calling to ask for the moving date. Karuna is telling me stop harassing them. They only treat their landlord with bundle of joy not the tenants. Now they have left us with nothing and we are struggling to look for a house and school for my son which is his first year of start. Please think 100 times before going ahead with these people. SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Tried to call the agency multiple times, but no one answered, got a mobile number from the answering machine. Called the mobile number, but again no one answered... after a moment I got a text message: "Sorry, I can't talk right now", so I replied that I am interested in this and that property, blah blah blah and I asked him (probably) to call me as soon as he can... never received a call. I called one more time the next day, but of course there was no answer, so I sent another message saying that I was waiting for a call yesterday, I am still interested in the property, and can he call me asap. He replied with apologies and assurance that he will call me later to arrange the viewing for the next day... yes you guessed it, he never called. So I texted him again after 7h trying to arrange the viewing. He texted me back asking for the detail of who wants to move in, income, move in date, etc. I sent him all the details and asked him to call me next day in the morning in regards to the viewing. Next day at almost 1pm, instead of the phone call, I received a message explaining that he tried calling, but I never picked up (I did not have any missed call), and I can call him back when I am free, so I called back within 10 min... of course there was no answer... after few minutes I got a text saying that he cannot talk, because................ HE IS IN THE VIEWING!! So why did he say that I can call whenever I am free?!?! He also said he will call me in next 30 min... I am still waiting for his phone call after 3 days. I am very patient person, because everybody makes mistakes or is too busy to keep up with everything in one day, but this gentleman was obviously not taking me seriously for some reason and was very unprofessional. Agency was great throughout our tenancy in terms of communication and maintenance. The issues I had were after we moved out when it came to our deposit. They flipped my mattress to find an old stain which they then tried to charge me for. The mattress had not been flipped before I moved in or during my tenancy so I was able to dispute this. I am a young professional and the flat was in excellent condition when we left. It needed a professional clean which I was happy to pay for. Our tenancy was for 2 years and there was a small amount of expected wear and tear (eg. a few unnoticeable marks on the walls). The agency said they needed to repaint the entire flat and took this out of our deposit. I have rented with a number of letting agents whilst living in Manchester and they were the only one who took a significant portion of my deposit.... Read more
