The professionalism, the care and the attention to detail from the whole team made ir so that, getting on the property ladder, was an easier process than the one we anticipated. Thank you to everyone and, if/when it comes time to sell, we’ll surely get in touch!

He took the time to provide clear informations, which made the whole process much easier. We really appreciated his support.
5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Appalling handling of tenancy deposit — avoid We vacated our property at Masters Court, Harrow on 30 January 2026 in good condition, and over a month later we have still not received our deposit back. The handling of this entire process by Connells has been deeply disappointing. Despite sending multiple emails and attempting to call numerous times, we have received nothing but vague responses saying they are "still liaising with the former landlord." No clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability. Phone calls have gone unanswered, and no direct contact number has been provided despite requests. The items flagged in the checkout report are standard fair wear and tear under TDS guidelines — minor wall marks, limescale build-up typical of Harrow's hard water, None of these justify withholding our deposit. To make matters worse, wife is 24 weeks pregnant, and the unnecessary financial stress caused by this prolonged delay has had a real impact on her mental health and wellbeing. This is completely unacceptable. We have now raised a formal dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme, which should never have been necessary. We have never experienced such poor deposit handling with any previous letting agency. If you are a prospective tenant — be warned. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

7th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

The whole team were great from start to finish, the valuation and photos for the sale of our property with Lloyd, to our viewings organised and managed by Anita, Darren and Denise and a special mention to Stephanie who was a great help with our sale progression. She kept us up to date where needed and gave us regular reassurance due to unforseen circumstances in the chain. Stephanie was very responsive, always polite and helpful and in regular contact with us throughout, a great support! Thank you to you all, we would recommend Williams & Donovan.

9th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)We purchased the property with Reeds Rains through modern auction with a exchange of contracts and a delayed completion. Reeds Rains were upto speed on my requests and saw the sale through on a timely basis. Due to this, once we had completed the refurbishment, we decided to re-sell through Reeds Rains on the open market. A buyer was found and price agreed above advertised price within a 2 week period. The sale has taken quite some time to complete due to the buyers slowing the process somewhat. Matthew at Reeds Rains has acted as go between, pushing the deal through. He has kept me in the loop on all aspects of the sale. Will I use R R again? Certainly, I'm just waiting for them to find me another cracking deal. Thank you guys.

He made everything straightforward and kept us well informed at every stage. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area. I would highly recommend Robert to anyone buying or selling in Finchley.
6th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)We recently sold two properties through Chalk Street Estates- overall had a very positive experience and would recommend this firm to anyone looking to market properties or purchase. The marketing of both properties was excellent. The photography was particularly impressive — very professional, with bright and clear images that really showcased the properties far better than many other listings we saw from different agents. Their pricing was also competitive and reasonable, which gave us confidence in choosing them to market our homes. Throughout the process, the team communicated well regarding viewing requests and follow-ups, keeping us informed at each stage. Unfortunately, there were some aspects outside of their control — particularly issues arising from the mortgage surveyor — which ultimately impacted the final agreed sale prices, bringing them below the initial valuations. Despite this, the team at Chalk Street worked hard to communicate with the rest of the chain and help reach an agreement. We found difficult conversations were handled professionally and very efficiently in what was at the time of our sales a buyers market. We also had an issue with the initial offer being reduced and had to relist the property, but this was handled efficiently and we secured a new offer within a week. Our offers were originally agreed around October, with initial viewings supported by Faye and later managed by Jack. We are very greatful to Jack- selling 2 properties is extremely challenging and Jack was nothing short of a miracle worker when it came to securing offers for both homes at the same time. A true credit to Chalk Street. As we moved closer to completion, Mandy became our main point of contact (around January, roughly eight weeks before completion). We had an incredibly challenging chain, but Mandy worked tirelessly behind the scenes, cross-communicating with all parties involved to help push things forward and encourage completion. We feel this was crucial to supporting completion with multiple agencies, solicitors and buyers involved- this we feel makes Chalk Street a stand out in their field. When we were purchasing our home 5 years ago we did the chasing with solicitors, Mandys involvement really eliminated the stress of it all. We are now in our dream home and cannot thank the team’s professionalism, persistence, and dedication during what turned out to be a complex sale process. If you are looking to sell or buy, they wont let you down :)

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
