From the first viewings to guiding me through the purchasing process has been smooth and Karen gave me every confidence that she was in control with regular communication and her experience really helped. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

I was particularly impressed with Kristina's swift and precise communication, as well as her knowledge of the development and the property. I have bought and sold properties in Farnham through Hamptons over the last 25 years, and this encounter was up to their usual high standards. Thoroughly recommended.

25th Aug 2026 (1 day ago)Fantastic service from Darren and the team at Turner Estates. We went to them to buy a retirement property for my mother in law. Darren was very knowledgeable about the property, having sold several apartments there previously. He answered all questions and was available afterwards for anything we’d forgotten on the day.<br><br>Sadly he was off ill on the day of completion, but his colleagues gave my mother in law a lovely moving day gift when we went to collect the keys. The whole process went through without a hitch.<br><br>Genuinely cannot recommend them enough. Thank you.

Michelle was a very welcoming and lovely person who done my viewing and was very proficient in her delivery and information of property . I also must compliment Lucy in the office as she was very helpful with all aspects of paperwork and kept me informed at all times of situation in my application. Would recommend TMS to anyone looking for a good, trustworthy and helpful agents.<br>Thank you for an excellent job in helping me find a property, best in Thanet in my opinion.

But despite explaining at the valuation that they worked for us and not the buyer, they seemed to be more interested in the buyers needs than ours, trying to get us to accept rubbish offers. In the end, we didn’t listen to them and got a better deal because of it. They also were constant with communication, which could be helpful except they updated us with essentially no update. However, they were quick in listing and had a great online set up with photos etc and were on target with initial valuation. Definitely feels like part of a big firm now, which has it’s benefits and drawbacks.
26th Aug 2026 (0 days ago)When we were viewing houses in Canterbury, Jordan at Godwin Curtis was our favourite estate agent because of her relaxed style and ability to throw ideas around about what you could do with the property. She offered general advice to us a first time buyers and was genuinely focused on us honing our criteria and finding the best house for us, rather than getting a sale on one of her properties. She also went the extra mile, showing us other properties she thought we’d like based on our criteria that we hadn’t spotted (no other estate agent did this and it really stood out). Thanks Jordan!

He made what was, potentially, a stressful experience simple and easy. Do look into engaging them if you are considering selling - you won’t be disappointed.

They have moved away from the traditional hard sell estate agent , they work with huge knowledge and quiet confidence. We are happy with all aspects of their work and would say that despite their higher fees they are worth every penny.

25th Aug 2026 (1 day ago)Good fees offered as just opened. Initially, they listed 10% below the agreed valuation price despite agreed price being on the contract. Claimed they’d discussed the price internally and a miscommunication. Republished at the correct price. Multiple errors in the advert on Rightmove which were raised with the team. Even after months on the market errors (as bad as the number of bathrooms) had not been corrected. Many attempts to drop the agreed valuation asking price by 10% in the first 2 weeks and further after 1 month claiming it should have sold already. Lots of viewings but low ball offers (-20%). After all the listing errors we had real concerns over quality and with a lack of respectable offers we decided to move to another well known agent in the area. No reply or acceptance of our cancellation email so we had to call. Within 2 weeks with the new agent we had an offer accepted with one of their long term clients just below asking price. I can’t recommend devenports based on my experience. They are a new outfit and this comes with teething issues.
