Everyone on the team was, without exception, professional, courteous and helpful. They were always friendly, approachable and professional, keeping us updated throughout the process and making what can often be a stressful experience feel so much easier. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to answer our questions, chase information and provide reassurance whenever we needed it.<br><br>Their communication, dedication and genuine care really stood out, and it was clear they were invested in helping us get into our new home. Storrington is a hidden gem surrounded by breathtaking vistas and places to enjoy leisure and Nature. I’m a little reluctant to share my honest thoughts... I don’t want too many people to know what a great deal moving to the area is. The cat’s out of the bag now, though.

Our first home fell through and Danielle was immediately there to support us through the process again. She ensured that we were kept informed of progress throughout and was always very responsive to our emails. We would highly recommend her for all mortgaging needs.

They came highly recommended by several local people, all of whom described them as the best estate agents in the area, and our experience certainly lived up to that reputation.<br>Our property was far from a straightforward sale. As a Grade II listed building requiring extensive renovation, it appealed to a smaller pool of buyers, and the process ultimately took just over a year. Throughout that time, the team at Stride & Sons remained patient and professional.<br>Their advice was always thoughtful and clearly focused on achieving the best outcome for us, rather than simply pushing for a quick sale. We always felt they were acting in our best interests, providing honest guidance and realistic expectations at every stage of the process.<br>We are extremely grateful for their support and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell their home.<br><br>Edit: it was notable that their contract was a straightforward and simple two-page document (this was in stark contrast to one other particular estate agent we considered whose contract contained a jaw-dropping number of unfair clauses that you are guided to avoid).

31st Jul 2026 (23 days ago)I have been working with Connor O’Hara over the past few months to find a property in Woodingdean. Connor has been a stellar agent with great communication. He has identified properties that closely match what I am looking for, and hasn't been pushing for properties outside my search (which is common among agents and can be frustrating). He has been flexible with viewings and maintained good communication via regular phone calls. He has also always had hand-outs with particulars to share upon viewing properties, and brought additional particulars for my family members when they came along for second viewings. Connor is very professional, friendly, understanding, and responsive.

I have always found him incredibly helpful, always replies to my emails as well as telephone calls. It seems like nothing is too much trouble for him even when I was asking him to contact the vendor on several occasions regarding any issues I had in respect of the property. I also dealt with Nathan as well who is just as incredibly helpful. New Foundations are like a breath of fresh air for Estate Agents & so much better than any other estate agent that I’ve used over the years.

He was calm, level-headed and reassuring at every stage, while also being proactive and keeping everything moving behind the scenes. He communicated clearly, handled any challenges without drama and always made me feel that the sale was in safe hands. Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, but William made the whole process feel much more manageable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)We had a fantastic experience with Cooper Adams, and in particular Sophie, throughout our house search and sale.<br><br>Sophie was instrumental in helping keep our sale moving to exchange (and soon, completion!), always communicating and proactively gaining updates from key parties. She showed patience and kindness during what can be a stressful process. Her communication was genuinely exceptional.<br><br>What also stood out was that Cooper Adams were the only estate agent in the area who regularly checked in to see how our search was going. It never felt pushy or like a sales tactic, just genuinely helpful and supportive.<br><br>Great, personal communication feels increasingly rare these days, but Sophie and the whole team at Cooper Adams really set themselves apart.- 5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)David and all the team have been brilliant. 17th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We met Alexandra when she showed us round another home we were looking at and were immediately struck by her manner - friendly, honest and very knowledgeable - she knows her market really well. We decided to then use Alexandra to market our house, which was a decision we are so happy we made. The marketing she provides is far superior to other agents which definitely showed in the interest she achieved for our house. She got an amazing amount of viewings booked in and found a great buyer. We were incredibly lucky that she also arranged our purchase as well. House buying can be incredibly stressful, especially when you have to chase people down for answers and responses, Alexandra managed all this beautifully and made the process much easier than it should have been. I have already recommended her to family members and friends and will continue to do so. We can’t thank her enough.
24th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)Without doubt, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had.<br><br>Although they may have eventually found a buyer for our property, that is where the positives end. Throughout the sale we experienced repeated problems, poor communication and an astonishing lack of professionalism.<br><br>The most serious issue was that our property was left unlocked on multiple occasions after viewings. Leaving a customer's home unsecured is completely unacceptable, and the fact it happened more than once demonstrates a serious lack of care and attention.<br><br>What was even more disappointing was the response when these issues were raised. Rather than taking ownership or showing any genuine concern, there was no accountability whatsoever. Ben, the manager, simply pointed me towards the complaints process and said someone would contact me to apologise. That apology never came. Promises were repeatedly made and not followed through.<br><br>The only person who deserves any recognition is Zoe in the office. She was courteous, professional and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, she was let down by the wider management and overall level of service.<br><br>For comparison, we purchased our new home through Mansell McTaggart, and the difference was night and day. They were proactive, professional, communicative and treated us like valued customers from start to finish.<br><br>Buying and selling a home is one of the biggest financial transactions most people will ever make. You expect your estate agent to be trustworthy, organised and accountable. Sadly, our experience was the complete opposite. The lack of communication, failure to accept responsibility and disregard for the security of our home have left us extremely disappointed.<br><br>I would never use this company again, and based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before instructing them.
