We bought our new home through Wards of Deal. Our sales progressor Amanda Robinson was polite, kind and understanding. Whenever I called the office everyone tried to help or directed me to someone who could. Thank you Wards of Deal.

At all times the staff have been polite and respectful during a very long stressful process. Sophie and Georgi have gone over and above in trying to help me with advice and practical administrative support. Oliver , Vanessa and Gregory have also been very supportive and helpful during this difficult time.

A deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience. We were left living in a property affected by significant black mould, despite raising our concerns. Instead of receiving appropriate support, we encountered rude, dismissive and unhelpful staff.<br><br>Most concerningly, after raising a formal complaint about the mould, we were served with a Section 21 notice. We found this response extremely troubling and feel it reflects a serious failure to treat tenants’ concerns appropriately.<br><br>We would not recommend this estate agent based on our experience.

Wards at Gravesend have been proactive and very enthusiastic in marketing my property with a particular shoutout to Adam but also to other team members on the viewings and marketing team. Adam stayed in contact constantly by phone and provided updates and has been the real fee earner for Wards so far. The sale process is still ongoing so I cannot provide a full review of the rest of the process. One thing to note is emails go unanswered so it’s best to call. And if you get the call centre don’t wait for a callback which might not come just call again later.

Julie Topping has been extremely helpful in my purchase. She is approachable and does not pressure you, and always willing to answer stupid questions! She cares about your circumstances and bridges a gap between buyer and seller in a considerate manner. I would definitely refer friends and family to Wards in future.

1 STAR – VERY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE<br><br>I contacted Wards Broadstairs regarding a £1,550 per month apartment at Gallery Walk in Margate. I was genuinely interested in the property and simply wanted to ask a few questions before deciding whether to arrange a viewing.<br><br>Unfortunately, the way I was spoken to by the member of staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was made to feel as though I was wasting her time simply by asking questions. I was told that I would need to earn approximately £47,000 per year to qualify. I explained that my income is around £45,000 and asked whether there were any alternative options, such as a guarantor, but there seemed to be absolutely no willingness to discuss this.<br><br>I completely understand that letting agents have affordability criteria and checks to follow. That is not my complaint. My complaint is the attitude and lack of basic customer service.<br><br>I am a local resident and a business owner with two businesses in Margate, and I was genuinely looking to rent locally. With rental properties sitting empty because of high asking prices, I would expect an estate agent to at least speak to potential tenants respectfully and professionally.<br><br>A few simple questions should not feel like an interrogation.<br><br>Very disappointing experience with Wards Broadstairs. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because customers should be treated with respect even when they may not immediately meet a particular affordability calculation.

September 2025 was not a good time to sell a house.The financial crisis, followed by Christmas, had everyone worrying about money .It took until Spring before there was any real interest.However, the team at Wards stuck with it Jordan gave me good advice and the team began to send a few potential buyers ,people who were enthusiastic about my property. Finally, the right couple came along,a couple who I was happy to sell to.
