21st Aug 2026 (3 days ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

They were professional, reliable and always easy to deal with, keeping me informed and handling any issues that came up with the tenant efficiently. It made renting out my property much more straightforward and took a lot of the stress out of managing it myself. I’d happily recommend them to other landlords looking for a dependable letting agent.

19th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Wilman and Wilman were the ultimate sales professionals when I bought a home through them. Mandy at the Crosshills branch ensured the progression of both my current and previous property's sale. Her excellent communication was superior to that of my solicitor and the agent who was supposedly working for me on my sale. Without Mandy I am convinced that my sanity would have slipped and both sales would have failed.<br><br>All the people that I have met and communicated with from the office including Herbie and Tom were helpful and efficient. I hope that this home is my forever home. However if I was to sell I would use Wilman and Wilman due to the high level of support they offer. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a professional service with people who actually do care about you and not just the sale.<br><br>Thanks for being caring and wonderful. X

We sold our property within days of the property going live and this was certainly helped by the property description and the 360 degree virtual reality tour. Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

Over three weeks have now passed and no contact. Since found out property sold to a higher offer. The basics are you communicate with buyers and do not just leave them hanging for weeks !!!!

Compared to previous agencies I have rented with, the team has been so friendly, approachable, professional and genuinely helpful, which made what can often be a stressful process feel really easy. The team have always been quick to respond to emails and had good communication. Jason, the owner, took time to show me around the property on the move-in day including showing me where fire and carbon monoxide alarms are, explaining how to use the boiler and what to do if radiators are not working. I have not experienced this level of attention and care from previous agencies! I'm grateful for how smooth and positive my experience has been so far, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Davies Properties to anyone looking to rent/have their property managed. Thank you to the whole team for making me feel valued as a tenant!

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
