I've never experienced such slow communication with any other agency. It made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.<br><br>I would not recommend this agency.

22nd Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.- 20th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)Don't bother to clean up too much, no matter how hard you try they will still charge you hundreds of pounds. After living at one of their properties for just 6 months, I handed over the house as clean as I got it but they still charged me £560 for deep cleaning. Very disappointed I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!

From the very beginning, the team was professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Buying a house can be a stressful process, but they made everything much smoother with their excellent communication and support throughout. A special thank you to Caroline, who went above and beyond to assist us at every stage. Her dedication, patience, and prompt responses kept us informed and reassured throughout the purchase. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her positive attitude made a real difference during what can often be a challenging journey. 17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)We sold and purchased houses in St. Ives with Wellington Wise and have been amazed at the quality of service. We had true end-to-end support from Sarah and Charley in particular - from early valuation discussions and buying advice, through to completion of the chain. Communication was always top notch, very prompt and usually by phone with a lengthy supporting e-mail trail.<br><br>You hear a lot about the stress of buying/selling houses and while this is somewhat true, in our case the agent only made things easier and relaxed. This was especially helpful to us as it took us a while to find our next house after selling. I would absolutely use Wellington Wise's services again.

4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Louise Mooyer has been brilliant in handling my urgent request re a repair. I reported the issue at my rented property on Sunday and on Monday, Louise arranged for the contractor to come out and complete the repair as urgent. She kept me posted throughout. Louise has shown kindness, thoughtfulness and more importantly paid attention to my request as without the repair it would be a safety issue. Thank you Louise and all the best.

Having the team on What's App makes a big difference as when a problem arises, as inevitably it does, they are there like your own friends to try and help solve the issue. Very professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. With this agent you are not just a number to get rid of, they go out of their way to make things smooth. Plus their photography is great.
