5th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Disappointing experience. Took time off work to attend a viewing, only to have the agent discuss a live offer with the seller in front of me during the appointment. It made for a really awkward and unprofessional situation. While they later acknowledged it could have been handled differently, they ultimately stood by their actions. Needless to say I wound trust then to be involved in and sales or purchase. Basic discretion during viewings shouldn’t be too much to expect right?

We approached 3 agents and chose Tom at Newfields who was very sensitive to the situation as well as professional, dealing with all queries promptly and efficiently. He kept us fully informed and managed the sale effectively achieving a good price within a reasonable timescale.<br>I can really recomend Tom and Newfield Estates.

From getting our house on the market to helping us through the buying process, they’ve always been helpful, friendly, and easy to get hold of. Communication has been great throughout, and we’ve always felt kept up to date with what’s going on. Any questions we’ve had have been answered quickly, and nothing has ever seemed like too much trouble. A huge thank you to everyone, highly recommend!

All staff were very professional throughout and more than helpful with general queries. I especially felt listened to by Emma who really guided me through the sales process regarding time frames and next steps. After having our house listed with another agent for over 2 months without any viewings, Harrington's had viewings booked in under a week! Through every step of the process they were on top of things, even when lower in the chain were causing delays. Special shout-out to Aidan who has definitely made me never want to sell a house with anyone else again!

From the outset, communication was clear, timely, and professional, which made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free.<br>They were extremely helpful in liaising with the landlord to ensure that the necessary repairs were carried out, and they were also accommodating in making it possible for me to extend my tenancy until I was able to move. After I moved out, they continued to provide excellent support by assisting with the process of recovering my deposit.<br>I would happily recommend their services to other tenants or landlords looking for a reliable and professional estate agent.
