Maddie kept us in the loop throughout the whole process which was stressful at times and kept in contact with our solicitor and notified us immediately about the current situation. We are extremely grateful and so happy we are now in our lovely new home. Moving is inevitably stressful but instructing Howkins and Harrison was the best decision we could have made. 25th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)Claire and Sam are a fantastic team and did a brilliant job selling our house. We needed to sell quickly in order to secure the house we wanted and bw able to place a formal offer. They worked at speed, when I requested a valuation they respond immediately and launched our sale within a couple of weeks. Their service was first rate and included a pre launch video, a promotional video and an open day. We were able to secure our asking price, so our purchase could proceed. Their communication to us kept us fully informed throughout the process and all queries were dealt with in a timely manner. On a personal level we found Claire and Sam lovely professional people to deal with and they were always focused on delivery of great customer service. We highly recommend them.

Highly recommend!- 21st Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Drew Stewart (Howkins & Harrison): A True Professional with Great Courtesy This morning, I had what can only be described as a scrambled-egg-induced social mishap—and I feel compelled to share both the humour and my sincere apology. While in the middle of cooking breakfast (and very focused on avoiding the dreaded smell of burnt eggs taking over my home), the doorbell rang. Expecting a delivery, I rushed to answer it, only to find a well-dressed young gentleman who politely introduced himself as Drew. Before he could even explain his reason for visiting, I abruptly cut him off—twice—saying I was busy, and quickly shut the door. The moment I returned to the kitchen, the weight of my behaviour hit me. I realised how dismissive and abrupt I must have seemed, and I immediately felt awful. Determined to apologise, I rushed back outside hoping to find him nearby—but he was nowhere in sight. A little later, I heard something come through the letterbox. It was a note from Drew, kindly leaving his contact details and explaining his visit. I tried calling but couldn’t get through, so I sent an email apologising for my earlier behaviour. Thankfully, I later managed to speak with him—and I’m so glad I did. Drew was incredibly understanding, patient, and professional throughout. He listened to my explanation, reassured me, and even had a laugh about my overzealous attempt to prevent a burnt-egg disaster. His kindness completely put me at ease. I genuinely regret how I handled that initial interaction, but I’m very grateful for Drew’s professionalism and good nature. If I ever find myself answering the door to someone like him again, I’ll certainly handle things very differently. If you’re looking to work with someone approachable, professional, and genuinely pleasant, I would absolutely recommend Drew Stewart. He turned what started as an awkward encounter into a really positive experience.

14th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)I would not recommend this letting agent or the landlords they represent. I was served a no-fault eviction, completely out of the blue, and the property was immediately re-listed despite there being no issues during my tenancy. On top of that, they attempted to withhold almost the entire deposit for “cleaning, including carpets”. Fortunately, the Deposit Protection Scheme reviewed the evidence fairly and correctly ruled that the property (including the carpets) had been returned in an appropriate condition — in fact cleaner than at the start of the tenancy. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Credit to the DPS for handling the dispute properly, but I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agent.

We truly appreciate the effort she put in to assist us and we are very grateful for her excellent service I would happily recommended her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind house

Dads' home ticked boxes but was niche which meant it was not easiest property to sell. I would highly recommend this Estate Agent to market and sell your property, their knowledge and marketing skills are excellent. I was kept in the loop what was happening. A big thank you Julia

They smoothly guided me through the sales process from start to finish, and managed the (unconventional) buyer, defending our position when required. Julie was always swift to reply to communications and gave helpful practical advice when requested. Everyone was polite and professional. Smart, polished, charming without being too smooth for comfort. I would have liked the staff to answer the phone with their name, not just "H&H". I had to ask / guess who I was talking to when I rang in - Julie / Claire / Jayne / etc.
