Howard has a keen understanding of the London market and offered insight and advice about how to best market our home. In a tough sellers market, he found us motivated buyers quickly. He also helped us navigate the selling process in an efficient manner so we could minimize our time to closing the sale. On a personal note, Howard has a great sense of humor and offers a no pressure approach to buying and selling real estate. We can’t recommend him enough!
10th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)Linas at Barnard Marcus has managed our tenanted property for over ten years, and I can't recommend him highly enough.<br>We're overseas landlords, so we rely entirely on our agent to be our eyes and ears on the ground — and Linas has never once given us cause for concern. He's taken us through three or four tenancy changeovers, each handled smoothly, and when issues come up he deals with them promptly and keeps us properly informed.<br>Ten years of consistently going above and beyond. Genuinely trustworthy, and a large part of why owning a rental property in London has been stress-free for us.

From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. A special mention goes to Alex, the Letting Manager, and Trevor, the Administrator & Coordinator Manager. Both were extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which gave me full confidence throughout the process. They clearly know the market inside out and handled everything efficiently, keeping me updated at every stage. Thanks to Alex and Trevor, the whole letting process was smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cedar Estate to any landlord looking for reliable and expert support.

10th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)We are incredibly grateful to TK and Eva H. in the Hampstead office for helping us find a flat a block from our son’s school in Hampstead. It was a very scarce market in the local neighborhood this year for a family of four and every decent place seemed to be receiving multiple offers on the same day and disappearing from the market before one had a chance to even see it! Rather than give up on us and ride this wave of hot rental properties, Eva kept diligently finding places for us to see and ultimately found our dream flat. But there was a problem- it was very popular with multiple families and we were very much at a disadvantage with limited rental history. However, Eva pulled out the stops and made a compelling case on our behalf and somehow made it work!! As we sit on our new balcony we feel incredibly grateful and have to give credit where it is due - Eva and her Tk office really came through for us! Thank you!!!!

You managed to find us the perfect buyer , a great price and exchange and complete in less than 4 months . The whole process was quick, efficient and basically seamless. The marketing of the property was spot on and very professional. The communication throughout the process was excellent. Having bought and sold numerous times previously that certainly is not always the case . We would highly recommend your company to anyone looking to sell . 30th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)Based on my personal experience, I would encourage landlords to exercise caution when considering this agent.<br><br>In my case, I have had to commence legal proceedings after rent was collected from my tenant but was not passed on to me.<br><br>Despite several reminders, I have not received the outstanding rent. I have also experienced delays in receiving rental statements and found communication regarding property management to be disappointing.<br><br>Overall, my experience with communication and customer service has fallen well below my expectations, and I no longer have confidence in the current management.<br><br>I would recommend that anyone considering this agent carries out thorough due diligence before making a decision and also considers other reputable letting agents with a strong track record.

We were new to the UK and were having great difficulty getting anyone at agencies across the city to speak with us. Ben accepted us as walk-ins and allowed us to see several units. Ben was very communicative and worked hard to get our offers in front of prospective landlords.<br><br>Ben left such a great impression on us and were thankful for the hard work he put forth on our behalf.

Gavin, Federica and Jordan were excellent at facilitating viewings and my property was marketed really well. I honestly do not think the sale would have progressed had it not been for Becky, who constantly chasing and dealing with my buyer's very difficult solicitor. She also kept the communication going between me and my buyer. I could not have asked for a better agent to have been involved.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
