The team was incredibly professional, helpful, and always kept me updated throughout the process. A special thank you to Abdul and Janet, who were my main points of contact. They were both friendly, efficient, and always available to answer any questions I had — no matter how small. Abdul was especially supportive and clear in explaining every step, while Janet was always quick to respond and very reassuring during what can be a stressful process. They offered advice but gave us space to make our own decisions. They were proactive in marketing and scheduling viewings and we have accepted an offer of the asking price.

Very responsive to our needs, easy to communicate with and when we came to give up renting and buy, she was really very flexible with helping us to do that with move out dates etc! I could not recommend Alvares Estates more, thank you Malissa!

29th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I was selling an empty property so after a few people said the main bedroom was a little small I had to suggest to the agency to add furniture in the photos so people could Visualise how big and how much furniture you could actually fit in the bedroom. So after that was done the viewings picked up and I found a buyer .

13th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)Sonia Estates could not wait longer than two weeks after my husband’s passing to start their plot to scam me. Informed me that minor repairs needed to rent after the contract expired. No deposit money given to me as they retained it! They ran up 8000 pounds( 12,000 pounds is what they demanded initially) worth of non existent repairs without my permission. When I disputed it, they secretly rented out my home and had no intention of informing me about it, nor of paying me rent!! They also had the secret idea of letting the home out to Capital Living who would charge us a commission, and Sonia would very kindly keep collecting another 7 percent commission too! This was only revealed to me after months of questioning Sonia Estates. They then threw away all of my furniture and asked me for an additional 15,000 pounds to furnish it again! So, they tried to make almost 27,000 pounds from the death of my husband! Sonia Estaes lied to the Ombudsman who accepted their lies that all of the above arrangements were agreed upon by me over a phony phone call! Even though I won the case, they were asked to pay me only 150 pounds! They now keep getting my Google review deleted!

22nd Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)I viewed a property through this estate agent, and it reeked of a strong food odour that would be difficult to remove from walls and furnishings. When I asked if it would be professionally cleaned or if the furnishings could be removed, Daniel, the agent was evasive. They insisted I provide all my personal documents before they can even ask the landlord, seemingly trying to pressure me into making an offer without any guarantee it would be honoured. They then ignored my email and only responded after the property had already been let.
