This was so important to us and we felt we were always part of the team. From the moment Steven outlined the selling process to us, through all the detailed management by Louise, we always felt at ease, confirming that we had chosen the right team to sell our property. 13th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)The only element of concern was the property was valued too high and I had to reduce on a couple of occasions and then accepted an offer lower than the reduction.- 6th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Lily looked after our purchase and we couldn't have asked for someone more attentive! We were kept updated throughout the sale and Lily helped us to chase and push when things felt like they were stagnating. I would be happy to use Dacres again for a purchase and would absolutely trust them with my property sale! Thank you so much Lily x

Peter's great expertise of the market is second to none. It provided me with comfort and a valuation I was very happy with. Summer was particularly superb at managing the sale process. She was very attentive and knowledgable of the finer details, while also efficiently keeping the solicitors on track. Great experience from start to finish, highly recommend.

4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)I'm a first time renter and have had a brilliant experience with everyone at Martin & Co Saltaire so far! Special shout out to Carol who has helped me throughout the whole process. Carol arranged the viewing for me and was present from the beginning. As a first time renter I had an abundance of questions, some of them probably a bit silly but she had so much patience with me. Carol was in constant communication from application right the way up until collecting my keys and explained everything well. Carol was also kind enough to allow me to have a second viewing once the existing tenant had moved out and when I identified a few things that might need repairing she was again fully on it and in constant communication which made me feel reassured that I could count on Martin &Co throughout my entire tenancy. Thank you Carol and the rest of the team at Martin & Co, I am very happy in my new home!

From the moment we spoke, Lee was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, instantly making the process feel smooth and well organised. When we were shown around the property, his attention to detail and understanding of what we were looking for really stood out and it gave us great confidence in both him and the company. What impressed me the most was how Lee consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire purchase. He regularly sent updates by email, often at times when I wasn’t expecting them, just to keep me in the loop and to make sure I always knew what stage we were at. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making the process as stress-free and straightforward as possible. Every time I reached out to him with a question or for an update, he was quick to respond, helpful, and always reassuring. His recommendations at every step were thoughtful, clear, and incredibly useful, and it was evident that he really knew what he was talking about. Having someone so reliable and proactive on our side made such a difference and helped us feel confident and supported from start to finish. Buying a house can often feel overwhelming, but Lee made it feel easy, and for that I am extremely grateful. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we received. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 7th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

From the very first meeting, they were different to other estate agents we’d encountered; extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and completely reassuring. Selling a house can be stressful, but they handled everything with confidence and clarity, keeping us informed at every stage. The marketing was excellent, the communication was consistent, and they worked incredibly hard to secure a great sale for us. At the same time they found us our perfect family home and supported us through the purchase, making the whole process feel seamless. They were always available to answer questions, chase updates, and smooth out any bumps along the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out was their honesty, dedication, and genuine care. We felt supported by the entire team from start to finish on both the sale and the purchase.
