12th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.

Adam was so very kind to my frail, old Dad who was giving up living independently after losing his wife, and was also unwaveringly supportive of me despite my lack of understanding about the way real estate sales work in the UK.<br>Adam did what he promised and helped me sell my elderly father’s large flat in Hove promptly, with as little stress as possible, for the price we had hoped for. And he accomplished this for me transatlantically as I live in Canada. His recommended solicitor, Helen Rowe of DMH Stallard, was equally excellent. I would recommend this team to anyone! I am beyond grateful for their assistance at this most challenging time.
7th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)They have been generally good to deal with and have been efficient. Where there have been minor errors and changes to sort out, these have been dealt with promptly. I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

He always goes above and beyond to ensure clear communication and is able to deal with and understand complexities. In my opinion, there is no better estate agent in Brighton. I cannot recommend highly enough.

What really stood out was how much they genuinely cared. I never felt like just another client or another property on their books. They took the time to understand my circumstances, offered honest advice and support, and worked tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome.<br><br>Selling a property can be stressful and overwhelming, but they made everything feel so much easier. Their communication and support was exceptional – Zak and Eloise were always available to answer my questions and queries, offer support and kept me updated throughout the entire process.<br><br>Their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication were outstanding, but it was their kindness and ability to go above and beyond that made the biggest difference. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and I always felt reassured and supported.<br><br>I am grateful for all their hard work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends, family, and anyone looking for an estate agent they can truly trust. As a tenant, I understand that a letting agency's primary responsibility is to protect the landlord's interests. However, what stood out to me was that Ben and the team always treated us with respect and genuinely cared about our experience as tenants. They saw us as people, not just occupants. While not every issue could be resolved immediately or exactly as we hoped, they consistently did their best to help, communicate clearly, and find practical solutions. Whenever problems arose, they were responsive, professional, and committed to supporting us throughout our tenancy. Ben is truly exceptional in the property industry. His honesty, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile make him stand out in a market where those qualities are not always easy to find. I would highly recommend Clifford Sales & Lettings to both landlords and tenants.

They were professional, knowledgeable, supportive, responsive and reliable. Communication was excellent. Advice was on point. They were really proactive and moved things forward well, without ever creating any unnecessary stress for me. I would definitely use them again in the future and genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough.
2nd Jul 2026 (4 days ago)As tenants, we had a very disappointing experience with this agency. We would not recommend them to either tenants or landlords. They collected our rent but failed to pass it on to the landlord for several months. They also failed to protect our tenancy deposit within the required 30-day legal timeframe, causing unnecessary stress and concern. Based on our experience, we strongly advise others to think carefully before trusting this agency.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.
