9th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)We purchased our flat through Savills in Windsor and were very ably supported throughout the process by Kornelija Makareviciute- her communications throughout the process were excellent- and particularly so when we hit some problems during the legal process post offer. Whilst her client was the seller, we also felt that as purchasers she was responsive to our needs for information and she didn't hold back from nudging both set of solicitors and others in moving the process forward. Her process was very effective and we are grateful to her for that! We achieved exchange and completion within 3 months of offer which for a leasehold property seemed pretty good going!

19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.

The team were professional, approachable and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Communication was clear and they were always willing to help if we had questions. Buying a house can be complicated, but they helped make it a smooth and straightforward experience. We would happily recommend them.

3rd Mar 2026 (15 days ago)I had a brilliant experience renting a property near the city centre thanks to "Sophie Copley". The entire process was incredibly efficient and professional; Sophie was always responsive to my queries and handled the contract preparation and signing with impressive speed. Her communication is precise and consistently helpful—I strongly recommend her! Since moving in, "Helen" has been managing the property and has been equally wonderful. Any issues I've reported have been handled promptly by professionals. Helen is a highly responsible and effective property manager. 22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

19th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)I recently purchased my first home through Compass Elevation, with the help of Mark Sheffield. He was brilliant, keeping me up to date throughout and arranging extra viewings as, and when, required. Always replied to my many enquiries very promptly. Helped to complete on a tight 8 week timeline, pre Christmas, due to seller requirements. Very happy to be in my first home for Christmas, can’t thank and recommend Mark and the team at Compass Elevation enough!

8th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)When I moved in originally I gave a 5* review. Once they had my money they stopped communicating, wouldn’t do the things they said they would, passed blame around and never took accountability, did not follow their own policies when it came to repairs. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action if they did not get the repairs done. Our landlord failed to provide enough keys and so we were told we had to pay to make copies ourselves. We had many issues with the property and Tucker Gardner was no help. They lied to us prior to signing the lease and went back on promises they had made. It has been over a month since we moved out and we still have not received our deposit. Communication is terrible at Tucker Gardner. I am truly disappointed that what started out as a great relationship quickly turned sour. Our landlord also had his own struggles with them not providing the services he was paying for. Don’t work with TG Lettings, they’re dishonest and they don’t care once they have your money.
15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)I am not one given to writing reviews good or bad, but felt I had to take few moments to express my gratitude to Intercounty Saffron Walden & in particular, Karen Johnson. We had a very bumpy ride with my purchase of a property, but with fantastic communication, professional expediency, coupled with a faith that it would eventually happen, we got there. I cannot thank them enough for their patience. I wouldn't hesitate in using this agency for any further selling/ purchasing, or letting needs.
2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Cannot be happier with Kevin Henry! David Moss was super and valued our house perfectly, as it sold within a week despite it being over everyone else’s valuation. He was also very honest and we felt like he had our best interests at heart when discussing all our sale options. This really stood out compared to the other estate agents we’d had out. Then we dealt mostly with Katie Staggs and she was wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough - she was more helpful than my solicitor and offered to do more constantly to support us in selling the house. She also offered great advice when she could because sadly we were gazumped on a couple of others properties… this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. So so impressed and would definitely recommend them to a friend!

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Communication was clear, they secured good tenants quickly, and everything was handled efficiently. 4th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)We had a great experience with Ensum Brown – Royston Branch from start to finish. Ben supported us at the viewing stage and followed up afterwards, making everything feel well organised and straightforward. Once the sale was agreed, Sarah handled most of the after-sales process and was excellent at keeping communication clear between ourselves and the buyers and ensuring everything kept moving smoothly. Fiona was also a great help towards the end of the process and made sure everything was wrapped up efficiently. The bouquet of flowers on completion day was a very thoughtful and kind touch. We would describe Ensum Brown as: Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely customer-focused. We would happily recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Communication after every view was brilliant thanks to Sophie, Reece and Gary. We felt valued and that they were working for us to get the best price. I would certainly recommend Seymour’s Staines!
17th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)We had such a wonderful experience with Phoebe as our estate agent. From the very first viewing, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She took the time to show us around properly and answered every single question we had without hesitation. Throughout the whole process, Phoebe was amazing with communication. Her responses to emails were always so quick, and she handled every situation efficiently and professionally. Moving house can be extremely stressful, especially being pregnant and trying to keep on top of everything, but Phoebe made the entire process feel seamless. She reassured me so many times and truly helped ease any worries I had. When Phoebe was busy with other tasks, Libby stepped in and was just as helpful. She sorted emails and passed information along promptly, making sure nothing was delayed. It was all handled so effortlessly between them, and we always felt supported. I honestly can’t recommend these two ladies enough for any advice or help you may need. Phoebe even went out of her way to get my son a pen, which had become a little ongoing joke during the viewing such a thoughtful and personal touch! Thank you both so much for making what could have been a stressful experience feel so special. You’ve truly given us a happy and positive start to our next chapter. ????

We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
