22nd Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

Megan McFarlane was incredibly helpful and assisted me throughout, from the initial enquiry right through to moving in. Communication was always prompt and professional. Highly recommend Abbotts and Megan in particular — a truly seamless letting experience.

He was always available to show us around the property while we decided if it was the right move for us and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had in purchasing this grade2 building. He liaised quickly & effectively between us & our seller keeping us all up to date at all times and answered all our questions. I genuinely felt Mark cared & thanks to him we are now settled into our new home. I highly recommend Mark.

21st Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Just wanted to leave a review for Kai, I first had contact with Kai when viewing a new home for me and my family. Kai was great with showing us around and we put an offer in on the back of his viewing. Although the offer fell through Kai has kept in contact with me since and joined me on my journey with finding a new home. I managed to find a new home through a different agency but Kai kept in contact and was rooting for me as the process took over 9 months to complete. He was there for any advice needed and was actually really nice to get his calls each month hoping for the news that we had completed. So even tho my experience with buying through Kai didn’t work out, I would definitely be back in contact with him for further advice! Many thanks to you Kai!

8th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)When I moved in originally I gave a 5* review. Once they had my money they stopped communicating, wouldn’t do the things they said they would, passed blame around and never took accountability, did not follow their own policies when it came to repairs. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action if they did not get the repairs done. Our landlord failed to provide enough keys and so we were told we had to pay to make copies ourselves. We had many issues with the property and Tucker Gardner was no help. They lied to us prior to signing the lease and went back on promises they had made. It has been over a month since we moved out and we still have not received our deposit. Communication is terrible at Tucker Gardner. I am truly disappointed that what started out as a great relationship quickly turned sour. Our landlord also had his own struggles with them not providing the services he was paying for. Don’t work with TG Lettings, they’re dishonest and they don’t care once they have your money.

8th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I was very pleased with the communication between Paul from the Cleckheaton Branch and myself, he talked me through everything and was available when I needed questions answered, I was updated at all times of prospective buyers of my property and of course helped to guide me through the sale which I was grateful for.
23rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Useless. They asked me to call a plumber myself when the boiler in our rental unit failed, being just one of many failures we experienced throughout our time there. Currently having to take a landlord they work with to court due to deposit claims, which has only happened because they delayed issuing returns until just after the deadline meaning the free process wasn't available to us, couple this with mistakes in basic maths and misrepresentation of facts paints a very clear painting of a company that's don't know what they're doing. Stay well clear. In response to your follow up, the email in question is from 19/02/2024 from Harvey Simpkins after a phone call.
