The entire process was incredibly efficient and professional; Sophie was always responsive to my queries and handled the contract preparation and signing with impressive speed. Her communication is precise and consistently helpful—I strongly recommend her! Since moving in, "Helen" has been managing the property and has been equally wonderful. Any issues I've reported have been handled promptly by professionals. Helen is a highly responsible and effective property manager. Great team overall!
22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

19th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)I recently purchased my first home through Compass Elevation, with the help of Mark Sheffield. He was brilliant, keeping me up to date throughout and arranging extra viewings as, and when, required. Always replied to my many enquiries very promptly. Helped to complete on a tight 8 week timeline, pre Christmas, due to seller requirements. Very happy to be in my first home for Christmas, can’t thank and recommend Mark and the team at Compass Elevation enough!
21st Jun 2025 (8 mo. ago)Fairly disappointed with the service. A tactic seems to be to over value the property initially to secure a seller this happened to us and a couple of friends. Communication is extremely poor. Emails & calls went ignored a number of times and in the end I gave up and just started liaising with our sellers solicitors Fine & County. They called me once a week with updates and chased various bits ups for us and without them I don’t think the sale would’ve progressed. That would be the sort of service I would expect. Overall I would say Sharman Quinney are an expensive agent given the service provided. UPDATE: I have emailed twice now the address the Sharman customer service representative has requested in their reply but had absolutely no response. Simply underlines my point of the dreadful communication.

My questions were answered and the whole process of purchasing was fast and without any hold ups. Without hesitation I would recommend and use Wellington Wise, St Ives for both purchasing and selling a property. Thank you - Sarah and the Team.

11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)I've been using TM services for about ten years, selling, buying and letting property and generally they give very good service. Most recently I used TM on a managed let to handle the change of tenant process which they did successfully but not perfectly. The services to notify utilities when changing tenants did bit work for me for energy and council tax. I find that this time find TM were good at contacting me for any issues or updates but not easily contacted themselves e.g. phone numbers given incorrect, calls transferred to unanswered phones, no response to voicemails left or emails. Fortunately TM have a great asset in Sheetal Shah who handled all the various procedures over the change of tenants which reduced my tasks considerably. Sheetal could also be relied upon to respond to my emails and calls, and was always helpful and patient.

8th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)When I moved in originally I gave a 5* review. Once they had my money they stopped communicating, wouldn’t do the things they said they would, passed blame around and never took accountability, did not follow their own policies when it came to repairs. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action if they did not get the repairs done. Our landlord failed to provide enough keys and so we were told we had to pay to make copies ourselves. We had many issues with the property and Tucker Gardner was no help. They lied to us prior to signing the lease and went back on promises they had made. It has been over a month since we moved out and we still have not received our deposit. Communication is terrible at Tucker Gardner. I am truly disappointed that what started out as a great relationship quickly turned sour. Our landlord also had his own struggles with them not providing the services he was paying for. Don’t work with TG Lettings, they’re dishonest and they don’t care once they have your money.
15th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)We decided to use Sharman Quinney to sell our apartment in November 2024, however our experience was very disappointing, and not reflective of the positive reviews we had previously seen. It took them 15 days to get our advert up on Rightmove once photographs had been taken. Despite being promised our advert would be uploaded before Christmas, it was not uploaded until after Boxing Day. It included several mistakes (things we were not made aware of before it went live). We chased this numerous times, and although some issues were fixed, various issues with the advert still remained. After a month of no viewings and an advert that was never fully corrected, we cancelled our contract with them altogether (at no cost). We then decided to go with a private estate agent who uploaded our advert within 48 hours of photographs. The advert was exactly how we wanted it, and an offer was made on our first viewing, the day after it was put on Rightmove! We are now in our new house and so happy we made the decision to leave SQ. Everything happens for a reason I guess.

Jonathon combined excellent market knowledge with genuine care for our needs, and the communication of the entire team was always clear, timely and proactive. Jonathon’s friendliness, integrity and professionalism made all the difference. He set realistic expectations, advised us expertly on pricing and strategy, and his feedback and advice was constructive and well explained. Thanks to Vincent Shaw, the sale of our property completed smoothly and very quickly indeed. I cannot recommend Vincent Shaw highly enough to anyone looking for a reliable, savvy and personable estate agent!

Having never sold a house before, I have no comparative experience, but I would certainly retain their services again if I were to need an estate agent to act on my behalf, especially due to the ‘personal touches’ - they never made me feel like I was ‘just another sale’ , and checked in regularly with genuine care about my sale and any requests or questions I had along the way. My enduring thanks to them.

4th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)We had a great experience with Ensum Brown – Royston Branch from start to finish. Ben supported us at the viewing stage and followed up afterwards, making everything feel well organised and straightforward. Once the sale was agreed, Sarah handled most of the after-sales process and was excellent at keeping communication clear between ourselves and the buyers and ensuring everything kept moving smoothly. Fiona was also a great help towards the end of the process and made sure everything was wrapped up efficiently. The bouquet of flowers on completion day was a very thoughtful and kind touch. We would describe Ensum Brown as: Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely customer-focused. We would happily recommend them and would definitely use them again.

11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)They did a good job of photographing the property inside and out and new EPC certification, as well as dealing with the house viewings when I wasn't present. I don't believe however that they did anything proactive in marketing the property beyond the initial presentation? They never discussed with me premium listings on platforms like Rightmove and Zoopla, and I don't think they "refreshed" the listing (regularly changing the lead image, update the description, etc) either.Ewemove Sales & Lettings - Cambridge West

His knowledge, professionalism and genuine “can-do” attitude really stood out. He was generous with his time, answered all of our questions clearly, and provided guidance that was both honest and helpful. It’s easy to see why he comes so highly recommended locally and has such strong reviews.

We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
