31st May 2025 (1 year ago)We used “Which” to find out the best performing local agents, of these we approached Greenwoods first as they have an office within walking distance. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient from the start, and Branch Manager, Phil Marsh, took us through every step of the process. From then on, Phil kept us informed and responded to all of our queries. He consistently provided all the assistance we needed to obtain a sale. We would recommend the Wells Road branch without hesitation.

From there we have worked with her and Lisa and been extremely happy with the service at the Southville branch. They're always easy to reach and happy to help and managed to find us the perfect house which thankfully Lisa also looked after which made the whole process so much easier. I have always found them to be honest and easy to work with which I can't say about all estate agents in Bristol!

This despite many difficulties thrown at them by my estranged wife, who put many obstacles in their way. 22nd Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)From the start, good old fashioned customer service. No flash salesman estate agent selling you the jargon. Honest quotes, honest answers. So far, part way through my sale, I can honestly say I feel I chose the correct estate agent.

6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Connells found a supposed buyer. I was told they had sold a flat to their sister and were in the process of getting a mortgage. 5 months later I terminated my contact with Connells after I found out the so called buyers had not sold their flat and the mortgage had not been approved. Checking on detail, is the responsibility of the estate agent for their fee? I sold with Purple Bricks

We liked that they were 'no nonsense' and that we dealt with just Callum and Tom directly throughout. Rich and his team were highly professional showing people around, I had no reservations about them using the key safe and ensuring the premises were left secure and safe. When assisting with negotiations through a number of potential and then the final sale he kept a clear calm head and kept us informed and up to date with the progress of what is a stressful and prolonged process.
