Sammy was professional, knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and communication throughout the process was excellent. He kept me informed every step of the way and made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>The level of customer service provided was genuinely exceptional. Sammy’s honesty, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best outcome really stood out. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about what they do.<br><br>If you’re looking for an estate agent in Eastbourne that genuinely cares about its clients, I would highly recommend Stevens & Carter, and especially Sammy Townsend. A first class service from a first class team.

I can honestly say I could not have done all the computer work without Hannah's help and encouragement. Happy to say the purchase was completed yesterday, exchange and completion 9 weeks from offer being accepted! Superb service, would thoroughly recommend. Big thank you to Hannah, Seb and Huw.

Our first home fell through and Danielle was immediately there to support us through the process again. She ensured that we were kept informed of progress throughout and was always very responsive to our emails. We would highly recommend her for all mortgaging needs.
26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Contract - BE AWARE<br>I cant fault the service that I had with freeman foreman in Heathfield and Lucy was particularly good.<br><br>I would just like all people thinking of using the company to be aware of a part of their contract. It was made clear to me by the original estate agent I dealt with that the fee would be 1% of the sold price. It turns out that there is a clever little box that gets filled in by the estate agent stating that the fee will be a minimum of £££. This figure is likely to be the valuation fee NOT the sold fee.<br><br>I would just ask anyone thinking of using ANY estate agent to be mindful of this prior to signing. Afterall the majority of us dont regularly sell properties, right?<br><br>Whilst I am sure this completely legitimate, it was never made clear to me that when the manger suggested that the original price was vastly over inflated and that I should reduce the price by 35 thousand, I would still be paying 1% commission on that 35 thousand.<br><br>I do feel this is an underhanded way of obtaining money. I am sure this is not the only estate agent to practice this, so it is just a word of caution to all about to employ an estate agent.

During our search for a property we were helped by all of them - John, Lisa, Kelly, Donna - with viewing properties and finally closing a deal on our dream home. Garry then ensured everything progressed smoothly to completion. All the team were knowledgeable about the area, attentive, welcoming (especially when I kept anxiously popping in to the branch!) and reassuring during a challenging time for us. We were kept well informed throughout - thanks to all the team.
22nd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We are only Under offer at the time of writing this review and so there is some distance to go, but so far Rush Witt & Wilson have shown themselves to be been a united team of keen Estate Agents in the Hastings office that we believe are doing their best to market and sell our house. They have been open and honest about the strengths and weaknesses of our property and although we are disappointed that the sellers market is so flat in late May 2026, we think we can trust their advice to set the price at what the market will achieve. Ask us again after completion.

1st Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)I can’t fault the service I had from Fosters with our recent move. I dealt primarily with Jessie and Mark. They were professional, knowledgeable, supportive, responsive and reliable. Communication was excellent. Advice was on point. They were really proactive and moved things forward well, without ever creating any unnecessary stress for me. I would definitely use them again in the future and genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough.

Only wish we had made the switch sooner.- 16th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)As a buyer with somewhat tricky solicitors to deal with, having Garry as a point of contact at Cubitt and West was a life saver. We were actually getting most of our updates from Garry and finally managed to get to exchange with his support and backing going between solicitors. If we were in a position to sell in the future I wouldn't hesitate to use Cubitt and West again as I've seen what they do for their buyers. Whole team great from start to finish but Garry is a legend!

We put our house on at the start of a very challenging market and they persevered until we found the perfect buyers. We’ve sold property with other agents and can honestly say the team at Surridge Mison are the best to deal with. Their communication is second to none and we were never left wondering how a viewing went or what was happening. They were consistently reliable and always available for sound advice in the viewings phase and when we were going through with our sale, they made the whole thing as easy and positive as possible for us, with regular updates. We felt very supported in what can be an unsettling time and we recommend them to everyone we speak to wanting to sell their house. Thanks again guys!

They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and we felt they always knew who we were personally. The house sold very quickly, something of an achievement in the current market. I think we were lucky in that John knew of someone who wanted a house in our area, but the fact is he did know and he made sure they knew it was going on the market.
