3rd Feb 2026 (22 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

As a first-time buyer, he was particularly helpful, guiding me through every step of the process with clear communication and a genuine desire to get the best and most efficient outcome.
7th Apr 2026 (13 weeks ago)Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing. I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing. My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day. Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered. I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with. To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.
18th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)I had a misfortune of bidding on a property and winning the bid with this estate agency. I immediately paid for a search pack and booked a surveyor only two months into the process to be told that the property hasn't been registered on land registry and it will take a year to sort it out. Really disappointed in Doug Paterson who should have checked this before putting this property on the market. They cost me a lot of money and time.<br><br>Update: since I posted the review above Doug contacted me and tried to blackmail me into removing this review saying he might provide information to my home buyers insurance provider which would invalidate my claim!

She is polite, professional in her communications, and knowledgeable. She gave me full confidence that my property was looked after and meet all the regulatory requirements. She must be a great asset to the teams at Romans.

His communication was flawless and he was consistently calm, helpful, and professional. He really went above and beyond to support us throughout the process - and made what could have been a painful process much more bearable! Throughout the entire process, their communication, professionalism and commitment have been faultless.<br><br>In particular, Sophie has gone above and beyond on countless occasions. She has proactively chased multiple parties, kept momentum when things stalled, and made sure everyone stayed aligned so the sale could progress. What really stood out was her consistency — replying early, late, after hours, even while unwell — simply because she didn’t want my mum or the chain to lose pace. That level of dedication is rare in any industry, let alone one as stressful as property sales.<br><br>Sophie’s personable nature, empathy, and genuine care made a difficult process far easier for both of us. She treated my mum with patience and kindness, and she kept me updated at every stage without ever being asked. It’s clear she takes pride in doing her job properly, and her team reflect the same standard.<br><br>My only regret is that I didn’t have the chance to work with Sophie on my own sale — but Langford Russell will absolutely be my first choice in future. 15th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. I’d happily use them again.
5th Jun 2026 (4 weeks ago)Fantastic service from Jamie at Bryan & Keegan while selling our house. We had several valuations on our property, but felt that Jamie was the most honest and had excellent knowledge of the local market. The photography package was great, and after only one week on the market, we received five offers and secured the right buyer. It was the service Jamie provided after this stage that really went above and beyond. We were part of a complicated chain involving eight properties, and Jamie made sure all agents and parties were kept updated while continually pushing things forward. I honestly don't think we would have moved without his expertise, guidance, and advice throughout the process. If you're looking for an honest, hardworking estate agent in the area who truly goes the extra mile, Jamie is your man. Thank you, Jamie, for all your help and support.

15th Jun 2026 (21 days ago)My wife and I would like to say how grateful we are to Mr Stephen Waller of Foxton’s, Bromley for all his help while we’ve been buying our flat.<br><br>Stephen is always professional and diligent, which is what anyone buying or selling property wants, of course. But he goes far beyond this through his kindness and the effort he puts in for his clients. He has kept us informed about the whole buying process and regularly went beyond and above what we expected by often checking details with the seller even before we had thought of asking about them!<br><br>Stephen’s a very thoughtful and empathetic person and we will always regard ourselves as very lucky to have had him helping us. Also, we’ll never forget Stephen’s kind message when he heard that our oldest dog had passed away last month.<br><br>When you’re buying or selling a property, you don’t want someone who you have to kick into action, someone who really is just going through the motions. You want someone who cares and tries his or her best for you, someone who is proactive and an expert at what he does. Stephen is this and more and we’d recommend him to anyone.

John and Mariem were extremely unreasonable, obstinate and down right rude. Refused to request items from the landlord like removing furniture and allowing keys to be returned early at end of tenancy. Our boiler broke on one of the coldest days in winter and we had to quote the unfit for habitation act before they responded to my requests to send someone to fix.

Harry was my main point of contact throughout the process, and he was always fantastic, professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend.
28th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We are so happy we decided to go with Strickland as our estate agents. We recently sold our 2-bed flat as we were looking to find our forever home. From our very first conversation with Terence we instantly could tell that they knew the area inside out and immediately pointed out all the things that made us fall in love with the area and the flat. So many other estate agents that we’d seen didn’t even know the area so it gave us so much confidence that Terence and Jamie would be able to talk to buyers about all the best bits of the location. We also appreciated the honest approach as it really helped us set our expectations about the market. They worked incredibly hard to find the right buyer for our home and handled everything with professionalism and care. They managed to find us a buyer within a week of it being on the market! They then really supported us through surveys, price negotiations and we always felt like they had our backs in those negotiations. Despite their best efforts our first buyer pulled out (no fault of theirs) and they managed to find a new buyer immediately. From offer and right through to completion, the whole team made us feel supported, reassured, and genuinely looked after during what could have been a very stressful time. Jinny was also so on it when making sure the sale went through and she took on the chasing for everyone in the chain!!! We honestly wouldn’t have got it over the line without her persistence and professionalism. Overall we always felt in the loop, and whenever we had questions or concerns, someone was there to answer quickly and honestly. We felt like they cared about us personally, not just about making a sale, as they took the time to understand our situation and always had our best interests at heart. That level of attention and genuine care made such a difference to our experience. We’re so grateful Terence, Jamie and Jinny for helping us get our forever home. We would 100% recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their home.

Although we ultimately did not secure a tenant, Michael consistently demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and integrity throughout the process. What stood out most was his willingness to provide straightforward advice, even when it wasn’t necessarily in his own commercial interest. Michael took the time to review applicant information, discuss concerns in detail, and provide honest feedback rather than simply encouraging me to accept unsuitable tenants. I always felt that he was looking at the bigger picture and helping me make informed decisions. When another agency refused to return my property keys, Go View stepped in and collected them on my behalf, despite having no obligation to do so. That level of customer service and professionalism is rare and very much appreciated. Michael was always approachable, responsive, and willing to make time for a phone call when I needed guidance. His honesty and practical advice gave me confidence throughout what was often a challenging process. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael and Go View to other landlords and would certainly consider them again in the future, including when the time comes to sell my property. Thank you again to Michael and the team for all of your help.

17th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Please read would be my advice. I would give no stars if I could.<br><br>When I signed up to JDM I had 4 requests:<br>1. Make sure they wear shoe covers (I provide them)<br>2. Do not leave the front door wide open while you are showing the them around. Which is why we got rid of our first agent.<br>3. Do not leave the people unsupervised wondering around the house alone<br>4. Try and vet them to avoid nosey time wasters (we had so many, no vetting what’s so ever)<br>They agreed to all of the above.<br>In reality it was very different. They left the front door wide open on first visit, allowed people to wonder around on their own, children running wild opening cupboards playing with light switches, touching and pulling at antiques, sitting down on our furniture making themselves at home and finally when the clients refused to wear shoe covers they said ok and allowed all 5 of them free reign of our house with their shoes on which included a 94 year old with 3 prong walking aid climbing our stairs.<br>They were sent a bill for our carpets to be cleaned and we then terminated our contract even though we had a buyer.<br>We could not bare to pay them any commission for such appalling, unprofessional behavior we would rather lose the buyer.<br>Think very carefully before you choose this company.
