10th Jun 2026 (27 days ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

We were out of the country during the whole process, but he made everything simple and stress-free despite the distance and logistics. He was always responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. 28th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Winkworth Estate Agent in Cheam is a very competent and professional company. Shaun Amner, the Director, and his team acted as my agent for the sale of my family home. They were also the agent for the vendor of the property I wished to purchase. Everything was done accurately and to speed (which was an important demand made by both my buyer and seller). Any questions I had during the conveyancing process were answered quickly and precisely. The team had my full trust and confidence when acting for me. Every individual I dealt with at the office was courteous, knowledgable and always up to speed with the situation on both my sale and purchase at all times, which made for an excellent client experience knowing that I had a cohesive and effective team working for me. If I were asked how Winkworth could improve based on my experience, I would have to say, "It's impossible to improve on perfection!" Well done, Amner, Georgie, Kirstie, Jane and Evie; and thank you all for the part you played, particularly in delivering my aspiration of buying the dream property I did.

Nothing was not too much trouble, even borrowing their ladder to clear the loft! Their verbal and email communication was spot on. I would definitely recommend using James Hayward.
30th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)I was a tenant with Chas Lowe over the last 10 years, having only just recently moved from East Barnet. The landlord-tenant experience has been excellent throughout. All issues or concerns, whether small or large, were dealt with promptly and with understanding. Basic but fundamentally important issues like an annual gas safety check happened seamlessly and, similarly, when there was an electrical concern, with a faulty plug socket, for example, this was dealt with timeously and professionally. Roger was the key agent during the tenancy and he deserves enormous praise for his approachable, honest and helpful communication at all points. The tenancy was in a block of flats managed by Chas Lowe and, again, when issues arose these were always attended to promptly. In fact, on one ocassion, the security light bulb was replaced within two hours of reporting it - thanks, Lorna! Five stars from me all around.

From start to finish, they were professional, proactive, and highly knowledgeable about the market and the area. Richard gave clear guidance on pricing and communication was consistent and reassuring throughout the process—I was always kept up to date, and any questions I had were answered quickly. Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me and I’m glad they were, what stood out to me was how they managed the entire process with a calm confidence during and after completion. As I am grateful Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard Dangoor to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. A genuinely reliable and good service.
