They shared feedback and assisted the sale once we had a buyer by facilitating communication and giving sound advice. Most of the staff at Roy Brooks are female. I would recommend them.

31st Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had to keep chasing them . Over valued it by 50,000 then wanted me to keep dropping. No real concrete feed back . Very miss leading about offers instead of waiting for offers officially tell you one is been made to never materialize.

12th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)I am writing this behalf of my uncle because he doesn’t speak English last year he rented a flat from these people they all so speak Turkish so my uncle paid them admission fees which by law they don’t have the right to ask him for admission fees but they did why because my uncle doesn’t speak English and he’s only been in uk for one and half years and then they asked him for weeks rent 2 months deposit again buy law they can only ask 4 week’s and when he left the flat they only give his one moths rent back said to him we only had one month deposit of yours horrible people

22nd Dec 2025 (20 weeks ago)I have worked with Irwin & Scott over the past 18 months, during which time they rented, managed and ultimately sold my property, which has recently completed. The team have been fantastic across both the lettings and sales sides and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent in the area. They were instrumental in getting the sale over the line, assisting with coordinating quotes from contractors following the survey and keeping both myself and the buyer fully informed throughout the process.
17th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)Absolutely terrible. I had the displeasure of renting with Spencer Munson from 2020 to 2023 and I am appalled at their service. Issues with our rented property was noted when we moved in, such as blown double glazing that needed to be fixed, but we never got that fixed in the entire 3 years. We needed ventilation in the bathroom and I chased them for 2 years to get an extractor fan fitted. We had contractor after contractor visit yet nothing was ever done because they couldn’t organise. We had one contractor come twice for the same thing! He was as confused as us and stated he sent his quote to them and never heard back till months later when he was asked to go and visit again! We ended up with horrid mould due to their negligence. Every time I would call or email I was told they were sorry for my wait and would check with management and call back. Yet I never ever got one call back!! I was sick and tired of chasing so I made them aware I would report them to the ombudsman and that is the only time I got a response! Even then, it took MONTHS to get an extractor fan and still nothing was done about the window. The boss himself came to our property because it had gone on so long. Originally he gave us a day and time and never showed. This happened twice which I can understand things happen, but he never attempted to call or email while we waited in. When he did arrive, he tried to tell us the property was so old it didn’t need an extractor fan. I brought my grandad around for this reason. He has been a builder all this life and knows the laws. The building is required by law to have some form of ventilation in the bathroom to combat the mould that was growing. The boss tried to give us the run around but it did not work. We decided to move out earlier this year as we were fed up of them and were given the option to self clean to a professional standard or pay for cleaners. We cleaned ourselves and I videoed the entire flat as proof, knowing what they were like. We spent 2 days scrubbing every inch, skirting boards, corners, lamps, oven, fridge, windows and it was spotless. We used their own checklist to make sure we had everything to their standard only to be told we would be charged £250 for a ‘further clean’ after moving out. So a waste of our time. Don’t give the option to self clean if you are going to charge for progressional cleaning regardless! My family friends helped who are actually CLEANERS, so when I say it was cleaned to a professional standard I mean it. We were then charged over £200 for ‘bathroom damages’. After probing into this I was told the ‘damage’ was a loose toilet roll holder that just needed tightening…and the seal on the shower door was coming apart. So they were wrongly charging us for wear and tear NOT damage. So £500 out of our deposit later we are finally out. Appalling management, morally wrong and from what I saw in 3 years, could not manage a property and keep them to a good standard. Avoid at all costs or be prepared to be spending your free time calling and chasing.

27th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)I rented an apartment managed by Blackstones Residential for almost two years. I was a student when I first moved in, so I feel that after this time I can now give a fair and unbiased review. Whenever I compliment them, I am comparing this experience with every other rental experience I’ve had. First of all, a big thank you to Salam, our property manager. He is extremely accommodating, professional, and experienced. During our contract extension and always, he was very considerate and always had our best interests in mind. When we first moved in, there were a few issues: the fridge was very loud, the oven fan stopped working, and the light fixtures were old and difficult to replace. Salam handled all of this quickly and efficiently, replacing everything with modern alternatives. When we needed additional wardrobes, he arranged that too without hesitation. Our landlord was super cool and generous too. Any issue we raised was treated with urgency. Contractors arranged by Blackstones would contact us within 24 hours, and in emergency situations, they were at the property within hours. There was truly no job too small, they did everything to make sure we were comfortable. It was clear that they genuinely cared about the property and gave helpful advice on maintaining appliances and the flat overall. Communication was excellent. We could reach them via WhatsApp, email, or phone, whatever was most convenient. Their office is also located very close to their properties, which made things even easier. The fact that they operate on Saturdays is a huge advantage. At the end of our tenancy, the full deposit was returned without any disputes or delays, just straightforward and efficient. I am honestly very grateful. This was the best rental experience we could have hoped for during our first years in London. It has set a very high standard, and it’s now hard to imagine dealing with other agents. I would absolutely check their listings again and would happily rent with them in the future. The contractors they work with also deserve recognition. Sultan and his colleague (whose name I unfortunately never caught) were outstanding. There was nothing they couldn’t fix or improve. One situation in particular stands out. The apartment had a balcony that had been damaged by previous tenants. Because of its specific design, many specialists refused to take on the repair. Even those recommended by the building management. However, the team at Blackstones persisted. Special thanks to Datta, who went above and beyond to find the right contractors. They eventually fixed the mechanism, and we were able to fully enjoy the balcony during the spring and summer. I can only imagine that this repair was costly, probably hundreads if not thousands of pounds, but they still chose to do it properly and find the best people for the job. If you’re wondering what kind of agency they are, this example speaks for itself. Thank you, Blackstones Residential, for such a positive experience. Please keep doing what you’re doing.

Selecting Laurence Leigh Residential was an important decision for us as we were selling our family home of the past 18 years. Laurence provided excellent market colour while also listening to our views. We agreed upon a listing price and after receiving several bids accepted one that was within 5% of our listing price. Laurence and his colleagues Anne and Guy are an outstanding estate agency.

19th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)I want to raise serious concerns regarding our experience with Fine & Country during a recent property purchase. We found the agency’s conduct throughout the transaction to be deeply unprofessional. Key information was withheld, communication was evasive, and there appeared to be no regard for transparency or ethical standards. Rather than acting as honest brokers, they consistently acted in ways that undermined trust and fairness. We are now dealing with the legal and financial consequences of this experience — and I would strongly advise others to be extremely wary.

Alex&Matteo signed a contract with us on 17th February to market our property and confidently promised to sell our flat within 8 weeks. From the outset, there were nothing but false promises. During those 8 weeks, not a single viewing was arranged. Whenever I tried to contact Matteo, there was always an excuse — he was on holiday, they had forgotten to list the property on Rightmove, or his partner Michael supposedly didn’t have access to emails. Communication was extremely poor, and we received no meaningful updates, feedback, or progress reports at any point. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
