26th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)I'm posting this review here as Winkworth is trying to take my truthful review down on TrustPilot. I have hundreds of screenshots willing to prove the terrible service I received as a tenant and to prove all the harassment as they would incessantly email from multiple people from the same office. I wouldn't be posting yet another complaint if they didn't report my review for a second time, but they've forced my hand. They serve section 21 eviction notices left and right before it is entirely legal (based on the timeframe, they do it pre emptively to the 2 month threashhold, and did so in my case). They tried entering my property without giving 24 hour notice multiple times outside the 2 month allowance timeframe. It took the team 4.5 months to return my entire deposit. I had to contact TDS and even go through legal avenues in order to receive my undisputed deposit. A shoutout to the terrible Bradley Whitehead, Sibel Camci and last but certainly least as in she is the bane of the Shepherd's Bush rental market, the lazy & entitled Daisie Lander. These three are chancers at best, reaping profits off of rentals that aren't legally fit to be rented and keeping deposits to record profits. They also "heavy suggest" that tenants use only one cleaner they refer us. The fear of losing more of our deposit is real and something they regularly enforce from what I've seen. This is illegal to enforce in the UK and because of the vague way that they suggest us to use their recommended cleaner, people cannot place this forward as a formal complaint. That said, I can note that they only suggest one cleaner. This office uses every underhanded manner to torture their tenants and make upper class professionals feel like criminals who should feel so lucky to have a tenancy. I've heard multiple complaints about Daisie when finding my next rental and get why some people don't want women to work, they're all thinking of her in particular. Lazy, entitled, and constantly out of office, I can personally show all the times she was out of office when I sent her an email. Though that's just the beginning of this tale, from strange agents coming into my apartment without any warning and claiming they were "new" (high turnover I see), to receiving several emails everyday regarding rentals for 4-5 weeks straight after I received my section 21 eviction as a standard harassment tactic, this isn't the office you want to work with or be renting from.

13th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)I went in t get a key cut from a lock i had just bought for 10 pounds at screw fix and they said it would be 15 pounds I said how come you charge so much they said " because we can" THEY are taking advantage of people the blanks on ebay you can get 5 for 5 pounds

29th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Pretty seamless purchase process with them. Viewings were quickly arranged, every question asked was answered, the entire process took much less than I anticipated. This agency is legit and Andrew, who I mostly dealt with, was a professional throughout.

She was extremely efficient throughout the process and consistently proactive in chasing the sellers, the sellers’ solicitors, and our own solicitors to keep everything moving. Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring during what can be a stressful time. Thanks to her dedication and professionalism, the whole process felt far smoother than expected. I would happily recommend Cauvery to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely committed estate agent.

13th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)Sonia Estates could not wait longer than two weeks after my husband’s passing to start their plot to scam me. Informed me that minor repairs needed to rent after the contract expired. No deposit money given to me as they retained it! They ran up 8000 pounds( 12,000 pounds is what they demanded initially) worth of non existent repairs without my permission. When I disputed it, they secretly rented out my home and had no intention of informing me about it, nor of paying me rent!! They also had the secret idea of letting the home out to Capital Living who would charge us a commission, and Sonia would very kindly keep collecting another 7 percent commission too! This was only revealed to me after months of questioning Sonia Estates. They then threw away all of my furniture and asked me for an additional 15,000 pounds to furnish it again! So, they tried to make almost 27,000 pounds from the death of my husband! Sonia Estaes lied to the Ombudsman who accepted their lies that all of the above arrangements were agreed upon by me over a phony phone call! Even though I won the case, they were asked to pay me only 150 pounds! They now keep getting my Google review deleted!
6th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)The experience with Salik and Co over the last three years has been appalling. We have been reporting mould for the last two years with no effective action. When mandatory work has been done (such as firedoor checks) workmen have not observed the 24hr notice period in our contract. One knocked on the door, didn’t even try to explain who he was and who he worked for before trying to force his way into the house. When I didn’t let him in (and documented this with Salik and Co saying that I didn’t feel safe in my own home), it was barely acknowledged. As a house of four women our initial contact treated us with nothing bur condescension (when we could get hold of him) refusing to offer assistance when our boiler, shower and kitchen electricity all went down at the same time. When we finally got him on the phone he brushed off our assessment of the situation saying "that's for a professional to judge" before hanging up. It took many more calls and emails to actually convince him to send said professionals over. Ending our tenancy while Salik & Co have been under new management has also been a deeply uncomfortable experience. A representative of Salik & Co entered the house without warning at 11am on January 26th when our tenancy wasn’t due to end until the 27th with the intent to perform the check out meeting without a tenant present. When I encountered him, he had not read any of the emails sent the day before rescheduling the meeting. He also behaved in a deeply insensitive way to a domestic violence incident that took place within the property. Sharing the victim’s address (which she had specifically requested to keep private) with the girlfriend of the perpetrator. I have found Salik & Co to be combative in emails while also being misinformed of tenants rights and the law. To both property owners and renters, I would recommend avoiding this agency like the plague.
