We recently had a slightly unsettled handover when our previous property manager left, but our new property manager, James Mander, has been absolutely fantastic always quick to help and resolving any issues as soon as possible.
24th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Sasan moves fast and knows how to find the deals you want. He’s proactive, resourceful, and finds a way to get things done. That pace can be a lot for some people, but it’s effective—especially under pressure. My only recommendation would be to focus less on trivial details and more on the bigger picture. Long-term relationships matter—LTV is more valuable than just closing the next deal. Overall, a strong operator I’d recommend.
17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)We contacted this agency today about a rental property in cockfosters London and had a very concerning experience. I was told that before even arranging a viewing, I had to complete an “income check” by opening my banking app and following their instructions so they could verify my finances in real time. I was also told that if I refused, they would not show me the flat. This is not normal or acceptable practice in the UK. On the same day, my English friend called about the exact same property. He was not asked to do any of these checks, even when he mentioned he could provide payslips. There was no mention of any banking app access or unusual verification process. This difference in treatment is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about discrimination and possible racism based on background or accent. Everyone should be treated fairly and equally when enquiring about a property. I am aware of my legal rights and will consider reporting this behaviour to the relevant authorities and the local council. Practices like this should be properly investigated to ensure tenants are protected from discrimination and unsafe requests for personal financial information.

They really supported us with our first rented property in London and made what could have been a stressful process feel easy. Louise deserves a special mention, her customer service is genuinely outstanding. She’s always been so responsive, kind and helpful, and just really easy to deal with. It makes such a difference having someone like that on the other end. We were also lucky to have a really lovely landlord, which made everything run even more smoothly. Overall, we’re leaving with nothing but positive things to say and would 100% recommend Miles Estates. Thank you again for everything!!
22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)I have worked with Alec Peduto and his team in Sales and Lettings for nearly 20 years. They have managed and sold properties for me including my own residential properties. I hold them in high regard and highly recommend them. I have used other local agents for both letting and sales over the years and frankly they do not compare favourably. Theydons are my strong recommendation for both sales and property management.

As a first time landlord not knowing everything regarding lettings / rentals they have been keeping me up to date every step of the way. Would use David Andrews again in a heartbeat!

I dealt with Sky and Danielle, who were both professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. They were always responsive and kept me well informed at every stage, and their guidance and support were second to none. They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and well-managed from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)I had a very bad experience with this agency. Initially, the property was advertised for £2000, but after I agreed, the rent was suddenly increased to £2100. I was also asked to pay multiple deposits and advance rent, which I did in full. When I received the keys and moved in, the house was not ready at all. There were multiple issues—no proper electricity setup, no gas card, broken fittings, and unfinished repairs. Even though I was promised everything would be fixed, it took over a month after moving in to complete basic work. Later, serious issues like no heating and no hot water continued for months. Despite repeated complaints, the landlord failed to take responsibility and even asked me to arrange repairs myself, which is unacceptable when full rent is being paid. I gave proper notice and paid all rent up to my move-out date. However, now the landlord is refusing to return my deposit and is still making unreasonable demands. This has been one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional service, poor maintenance, and no accountability. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

At the end, we had chocolate ready for her because I chased her to chase the seller solicitor. She didn't have to entertain me whatsoever, but her work is definitely appreciated by us. 1st May 2026 (8 days ago)I think buying and selling a house is stressful enough, and this is why we loved working with Strickland: Jamie and Terence are two REAL people who REALLY cared and did treat our sale and purchase like what it really meant to us, not just another transaction on their schedule. They have been reasonable (honestly, it may sound like an odd compliment but it’s just so hard to find reasonable people these days!), kind, proactive, an absolute pleasure to work with. I did genuinely trust them and I would do so again with no hesitation. The only issue now is that we’ll need to move again to have an excuse to hang out with them! ??????

They could recommend a good broker and solicitor to us and were always approachable and happy to answer our many questions. They also had great knowledge of the area and were very flexible to show us different properties in the area we were interested in. All in all, every member of the team was helpful and simply lovely to talk to. All of this made the house buy so pleasant. Thank you, Loft team!
