I spoke to him, viewed the property, and everything was completed within the same day. Paperwork sorted and agreements signed. I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth it was. Even when he was put in an uncomfortable situation, through no fault of his own, he handled it extremely professionally, which helped me feel comfortable as well. A real credit to his role. 3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

They are incredibly polite and consistently quick to respond to emails and correspondence. Easily the best agency experience I’ve had to date.

Complete lack of communication, chaos in absolutely everything, inaction in solving the problems of the tenants!. ??The promises when signing the contract turned out to be empty words!. The agency created more problems for us than it solved! Waste of time, nerves and money! I categorically do not recommend!

21st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Anthony Lettings has been managing one of our rental properties in Hertford since 2016 when they took over from BlueTopp Lettings. The service has always ben excellent and the tenants have also been very good (no issues so far). Highly recommend as a landlord

28th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Fuse box was burning and nothing was done after reporting several times, had to call fire brigade 2 days later, whereby they confirmed it was still a massive fire risk (Truepennys did not act when 15 people’s lives were at risk due to a serious fire hazard). I was put in a temporary room with no power, light, heating during cold temperatures outside (I was freezing - -1 degrees outside) - and instead of helping they ceased to act on my behalf, and cancelled the contract. This left me with no one to communicate with, as they refused to speak to me on the phone from thereon after. I was left in a flat with no power and me and my girlfriend had to sleep at a friend’s house, as it did not seem safe but TruePennys didn’t care. The directors refused to speak to me after agreeing to call me back 5 times - truly shameful and Truepennys should be really disappointed with how they treat people. They never reply on emails or on the phone. They are now refusing to release my security deposit and ignoring emails. This along with mice issues, bathroom smells and dodgy fridges and ovens which were reported for the entirety of our tenancy and nothing was done. However, not responding to a life threatening incident is disgusting by all accounts.

Jake always took the time to answer my questions (there were so many!) and keep me updated. His knowledge of the local area and attention to detail made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. I could not recommend him more to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
