15th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)I wasn't overly impressed by the estate agent. While they were upfront about the market and the difficulty in selling, I don't believe they were actively engaged in the marketing of the property. While presence for viewings, I felt that the agent showing lack knowledge of the properly and area with the owners really providing the viewing. When recieving an offer, there was an underlying pressure to accept a bid which was well below our expectations and only through our push back we were able to get a more satisfactory offer. Something I don't think we could have got with the guidance of the estate agent

18th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)Great estate agents , Always sorted any little problems out as soon as possible can’t fault them for the way they conduct themselves and run the business . But only negatives and why it’s not 5 starts Is because they deducted £100 from me for the £200 deep clean, which I spent hours on end and spent about £30 on cleaning equipment getting the place nearly spotless so not sure why they paid £200 for a deep clean when there was only about 30 mins worth of cleaning to be done there was abit of dust on top of a door and extractor fan needed cleaning, I’m sure they could have got someone just to go clean them things instead of paying for deep clean . But it is what it is ,most estate agents do that these days probably so they can show the new tenants it got deep cleaned by professionals ,just seems abit harsh on tenants who leave it in good nick because what’s the point spending all the hours I did leaving it clean if going to get billed for deep clean anyway ? . I agreed to the deduction as overall they’ve been good agents so I don’t want to dispute over £100 and then have to wait ages for deposit .<br>My flat was down an alley way and the restaurants and bin men would leave it a right mess , when I asked John at the start if someone could clean it he said it’s not their problem that bit as don’t own the pathway . I get it’s not there problem as they don’t own the alley way but you’d think if you had flats there you would pay someone to go every 2 weeeks or so to tidy up . So I had to tidy it up a few times myself which I didn’t want to do but had no choice .<br>The flat was excellent and the cheapest on the market for that size imo but the alley way definitely ruined it because it was embarrassing sometimes to get friends around walking through loads of rubbish to get to flat

Mark and team in contrast lined up a tonne of viewings within days of the ad going live. I had an offer the next day. Mark kept on top of the process all the way through, oiling the wheels throughout to keep everything on track. A safe and reliable pair of hands. Definitely recommend.- 26th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)I highly recommend Stephen Waller at Foxtons. From the start of my search, he has been approachable, available, and genuinely kind. Buying a property can feel overwhelming, but Stephen never rushes you. He takes the time to understand your needs, answers questions clearly, and makes himself available when you need reassurance. What really stands out is that he listens carefully and tries to see things from your perspective, which makes the whole process feel far more manageable. He is professional, patient, and clearly loves what he does — and that shows in the way he supports his clients. Five stars without hesitation

29th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)My partner and I couldn’t recommend Paul, Samira and Sine at Samuel Estates more highly. We met with a number of estate agents but immediately could tell that something was different, more honest and personal when first meeting Paul. They also had comforting evidence of selling properties fast within the area. We experienced great communication throughout the process and this personal approach really helped negotiate and seek alternative options when a few unforeseen circumstances arose up and down the chain, keeping everyone calm and then pushing when they needed to. We’d definitely recommend the team at Samuel Estates to anyone in Streatham/Norbury and surrounding areas that they cover.

17th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)I’ve been meaning to write this review for such a long time (since we bought our house last August) and have kept forgetting, but was recently spurred to do one as my sister is now dealing with estate agents and I was reminded of what estate agents are usually like ( generally do not appear to care about anything except profits and often forget they’re dealing with human beings). I can safely say that Bruno and his team at Castles are exceptional and worlds apart from usual estate agents. In buying our first home, Bruno exceeded his remit to make the process smooth for both us and the vendor, who was elderly and required substantial support. He was attentive, generous with his time, incredibly helpful and even went above and beyond to assist us in dealing with solicitors, who were often frustratingly incommunicado or moving at a glacial pace. Bruno made the whole difficult process run as clearly and quickly as possible. I can’t recommend Bruno and Castles on West Green Road highly enough. Thank you so much for everything.

From advising how to ready the house, to finding a good buyer, to helping manage the solicitors constant enquiries and their shortcomings. Always available to help. Plus using his long experience and long list of contacts to get this ordeal over the line. So hard working. I will recommend him to everyone. Importantly, he’s a lovely guy!
